It is with heavy hearts and deep love that the family announces
the passing of Mildred on November 23, 2025, at the age of 97 years.
…
Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved being independent, living in a supportive community.
Her zest for life, especially the Legion and the Day Centre, helped her gain many friends. She took pride in selling poppies, attending meetings and enjoyed her chicken BBQs at the Legion. Mildred looked forward to Ormstown Fair and going out to listen to music at Gigzz, especially Elvis Presley.
She leaves behind a loving family
who will forever cherish her memory.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at the McGerrigle Funeral Home, on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. A chapel service will be held at the same place at 11:30 a.m., followed by the interment at the Edwardstown Cemetery, 835, Notre-Dame Road (R-209) in Saint-Chrysostome Québec.

Oh my goodness. Mildred was a very special lady and known by many in the community. She loved the Legion and all of its members over the years. She couldn’t pronounce my name exactly (Adrien) so when we met and hugged, she always said « A..dreen, when you coming to the Legion ». I will miss her and so will all her friends. Now Mildred, it’s time to rest.
