Madeline Cavanagh, 1936–2024

It is with sadness that we announce the passing
of Madeline Cavanagh, at the age of 88,
on April 17, 2024, in Ormstown Qc.

Wife of the late Allan Lawson, she leaves to mourn three siblings: her brothers Frank (late Betty-Jean), Gerry (Anne-Marie) and Dave (Lynda), along with many nieces and nephews.

Daughter of the late John and Gladys Mary Foran, Madeline was also preceded in death by her partner Normand Howden, by her brother Michael (Esther) and by her sisters, Rita and Hilda (Edgar).

The family would like to thank all those that have cared for Madeline over the last years. They also wish to express very special thanks to all the staff—nurses, aids, and workers —at the Centre d’hébergement Ormstown, for the loving nursing care given to Madeline during her stay with them.

On April 27th, the visitation will take place from 10 a.m.
at the Saint-Malachie Church on Roy street in Ormstown,
followed by the funeral celebration at 11 a.m.

In her memory, the family suggests that donations may be made to the CHO Foundation,
by mail at 65 Rue Hector, Ormstown, QC, J0S 1K0,
or by e-transfer to dfdncho@gmail.com.

Gerry, Frank & David and family,
With my deepest condolences to each of you in your loss. When living on Lambton St we used to often cross paths on the sidewalks and have a nice chat.
She is at peace now and will have the biggest and best welcoming party in Heaven.
    Sincerely,
    Sharon Higgins
