Nicholas Furcall, 1931–2019

Died peacefully surrounded by family, at Centre d’Hébergement in Ormstown, Quebec on September 8, 2019 at age 88.

Son of the late John and Rose Furcall, beloved husband of 64 years to Marjory Jean Templeton, father to Valerie (Kevin Brady), Clifford (Carol Sprafkin) and Heather (Thomas Kerr), also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan Allen, Lyndon Allen, Amanda Furcall (Erik Servili), Dylan Furcall and great-grandchild Jaxson Allen.

Nicholas was predeceased by his brothers Peter, Michael, Harry, Paul, his sisters Olga and Mary.

Nicholas enjoyed country life and with Jean, raised a family on a farm in Riverfield, Quebec. His interests included raising animals and gardening—especially flowers.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 at the Howick United Church at 2:30 p.m. with visitation prior from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

The family wish to thank all the caregivers and staff at the CHO in Ormstown, for their dedicated and compassionate care. The loving support of relatives and friends through the years has also been a blessing.

The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Howick United Church, Quebec, or to a charity of your choice.
