Keith Edward Bryson, January 1st, 1950 – November 4th, 2022

After a very lengthy illness with Lewy Body Dementia,
Keith passed away peacefully in Huntingdon at the age of 72 years
with his family by his side.

Beloved husband and best friend of 48 years of Debbie Wright, he was the loving father of Bryan (Annick), Beverley (Justin) and Douglas (Stéphanie), and very proud Grampa of Danika, Stella, Lukas and Edward.

Keith was predeceased by his parents John Edward Bryson and Freda Margaret Todd of Ormstown. This fifth-generation farmer continued the legacy of farming on Brysonwood Farms, existing since 1823.

Besides his family and friends, he loved anything that had to do with nature such as hunting, fishing, camping and travelling. He was also interested in local and family history.

Many who had the chance to know him well will agree: Keith had a unique gift to tell stories and jokes that added a laugh to your day.

To all who reached out and helped during these challenging years, thank you so much, it meant a lot. We also express our gratitude to the reliable, respectful and caring personnel of the Day centre at the centre d’hébergement and at the Source Bleue in Ormstown. Last but not least, to Dr. Hébert and the staff on the second floor of the CHSLD in Huntingdon, we cannot thank you enough for providing care with such dedication and compassion during Keith’s journey.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Huntingdon County Hospital Foundation, 198 rue Châteauguay, Huntingdon, QC J0S1H0.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 18th, 2022, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McGerrigle Funeral home, 70 Lambton St., Ormstown, QC, as well as Saturday November 19th, 2022, at St. Paul’s United Church, 19 Lambton St., Ormstown as of 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m.

Thinking of you Debbie, Bryan, Bev, Doug and families. From my days of babysitting Bryan to the Cub camp days with Doug and finally my days as a co-worker with Bev, Keith’s influence prevailed. He was so proud of his family and his determination was inherited by all three. We will treasure all of those campfire stories that lead to laughter with tears, the “Keith” spin on life and the precious time we spent with you both. Hugs to all!
