My condolences to George’s family and friends. This great portrait says it all. I was lucky to consider him a friend and will always remember with fondness George’s laugh, the twinkle in his eye, his feistyness, his kindness, his appreciation for art and passion for puzzles… and his love for Tina Turner. Rest In Peace, dear George. You are missed.

George was a great guy – always ready with a joke, an opinion or an interesting conversation. I value the time I got to spend with him and learn from him.
Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones who will remember him always.

My deepest sympathy to all of George’s family and friends…first met George at Howick High School..grade 5 and every meeting after that was filled with fun and his signature laugh….…I remember his surgery and our relief, Friday nights skating at the rink behind the school….crack the whip, school dances, visits in Ormstown, his humour and his generosity, the puzzles he’d proudly bring out to share, and the card game we never finished…RIP Georgeous ( our pet name for George)
