Peter Kenneth Meloche, 1959–2023

It is with great sadness that we announce
the passing of Peter Kenneth Meloche,
 in Ormstown on July 13, 2023, at the age of 64.

Following a valiant battle against lung cancer, he leaves to mourn his wife of 34 years Debbie McClenaghan, and their four sons, Burke, Russell, Austin and Owen whom he loved wholeheartedly, as well as his extended family and friends.

A freelance self-employed carpenter and a very creative man with the soul of an artist, Peter enjoyed creating unique and specialty designs for his customers.

Larger than life, Peter lived with a free spirit
and had a lively sense of humour,
as those close to him knew;
he w
ill remain imprinted in our hearts forever.

At Pete’s request, there will be no service or celebration of life,
but should you wish to make a donation in his memory, this can be made to
the Canadian Cancer Society or the Women’s Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital
(e-transfer to: dabarriememorial@gmail.com).

    Pete was such a fun and generous guy and it is really difficult to imagine him not in this world. He worked at two of my kids homes (Megan and Tabitha mckell) and mine as well.

    Debbie and family, our hearts go out to you. Pete was a great neighbour, talented carpenter and always up for a great chat. His creativity seemed endless. Will forever hold the River Road’s trophy for lawn mowing engineering. Hope all the wonderful memories will in time help with the hurts you are feeling now.
