Ruth Margaret Brown (née Jones), February 10, 1940 – September 21, 2023

Ruth passed away peacefully in her sleep
at the CHSLD in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Loving wife of Ross Melville Brown, caring mother of Linda and Jeffrey, and proud grandmother of Jeffrey Ross.

Margaret was an inspiring teacher to many in the community.

In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, cremation has been taken place and a private graveside service will be held.

In her memory, if so desired, memorial donations made to the Barrie Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

It’s with great sadness I send my sincere sympathies to the family of Ruth Brown.
She was a sincere and generous friend and a smiling companion. Always interested in people, she always remembered the faces surrounding her. She will be greatly missed but forever her memory will stay with all who knew and loved her.
Sleep well….until we all meet again.

Rest in peace Ruth ❤️! You will always be fondly remembered by our whole family, especially for all the tutoring support and homemade cookies you always had on hand for Jamieson! Love and courage to your whole family in the days and months ahead x.o.

    Love,

I have many fond memories of Ruth since my high school days. Although she was a second grade teacher she inspired many older students to work hard and achieve results above the 50% passing grade. She remained a life long friend and was never short of encouraging words whenever I visited with her. R.I.P Ruth.
