Brian W. Wardell, 1949–2024

Brian Wardell, age 75, passed away suddenly on June 9, 2024.

Brian was born on March 3, 1949, to Edith and Morris Wardell of Alliston, Ontario. He is survived by his loving wife Clara, three daughters, 11 grandchildren and an abundance of extended family and friends.

Though known for his strong will and occasional stubbornness, Brian’s heart was as vast as his wisdom, acquired through a lifetime of rich experiences. His generosity, loyalty, and bravery endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them – and if you knew him, you knew it.

When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength and full of love for those who went before him. He will be dearly missed.

I’m so thankful for every moment we shared dad. I never told you enough how special you were or how much I truly loved you. If I had of known that was the last time I would say goodnight I would have spent the night making sure you knew you were my hero! I promise to spend the rest of my life trying to right my wrongs and never let you down again. I’m sorry dad… I hope one day I’ll see you again. I love you more then life. Xoxo

I met Brian a few times. I will forever remember the love he had for his beloved wife Clara. I had the privilege of witnessing his love and commitment to her on their wedding day. It was a gorgeous sunny summer afternoon.
We also met one random day on the Varadero Beach of Cuba. He liked the beach, sun and Cerveza.
    Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
