It is with great sadness that we announce
the passing of William “Bill” Templeton,
who died peacefully on March 7, 2026, at the age of 91.
…
Born on June 25, 1934, on the family farm in Riverfield, Quebec, predeceased by his wife Joan Sylvester (2018), he will be lovingly remembered by his sister Margaret (late Richard Bunbury), and by his children, Judy (Howard Welburn), Allan (Karen Reid) and Jill (Rick Godin). He will also be missed by his grandchildren Ryan, Kerri‑Ann (Tyler King), Matthew, and Elizabeth. To his great joy, he was able to welcome and celebrate the birth of his first great‑grandchild, Olivia King, in October 2025.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family, he is now reunited with his beloved wife Joan, his brothers Bruce and Brodie (Jennie Leavy), his son Robert (Bob), and his cherished grandchild Emily Templeton.
Bill (Dad) will be remembered for his quiet strength,
hard work, his devotion to his family
and his steady presence of love.
