Richard « Baker » Trépanier, 1940–2020

Richard Trépanier passed away at his home in Ormstown, Quebec, on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the age of 79.

He was predeceased by his parents, John Trépanier and Victoria Lapierre, by his daughter Pamela, his brother Réal Trépanier and his sister Rose Trépanier.

Born on October 3, 1940, in Sainte-Agnès-de-Dundee, he and the late Betsy Fleury exchanged vows on May 10, 1958. Richard, an Ormstown businessman, was well known to everyone as “Baker”.

He leaves to mourn his life partner Nicole Schinck, his children Dicky & Sue Trépanier, Brenda & Jim Harkins, Johnny Trépanier, Michael Trépanier, Garry Trépanier, Lyne Trépanier & Wendel Goundrey, Chantal & Jason LaMay, James Trépanier & Kim Tannahill, Sylvie Schinck, Alain Schinck, Christina Fountain, Connie Fountain, Crystal Fountain, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Also surviving Richard are his siblings Eugène, Gisèle, Denise, Léonard, Linda et Jacques Trépanier.

Due to present circumstances, a celebration of life will be held at a later date

Richard Trépanier est décédé à son domicile d’Ormstown, au Québec, le vendredi 19 juin 2020, à l’âge de 79 ans.

Fils de feu John Trépanier et feu Victoria Lapierre, il fut également prédécédé par sa fille Pamela, son frère Réal Trépanier et sa sœur Rose Trépanier.

Né le 3 octobre 1940 à Sainte-Agnès-de-Dundee, lui et feu Betsy Fleury ont échangé leurs vœux le 10 mai 1958. Richard, un homme d’affaire de Ormstown, était bien connu de tous sous le nom de « Baker ».

Outre sa partenaire de vie Nicole Schinck, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Dicky & Sue Trépanier, Brenda & Jim Harkins, Johnny Trépanier, Michael Trépanier, Garry Trépanier, Lyne Trépanier & Wendel Goundrey, Chantal & Jason LaMay, James Trépanier & Kim Tannahill, Sylvie Schinck, Alain Schinck, Christina Fountain, Connie Fountain, Crystal Fountain, plusieurs petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants.

Richard laisse également dans le deuil ses frères et soeurs Eugène, Gisèle, Denise, Léonard, Linda et Jacques Trépanier.

En raison des circonstances actuelles, la célébration aura lieu à une date ultérieure.

    Baker had a heart of gold .. he was always helping his neighbors and family .. whether it be cutting the grass or buying groceries. His passion to decorate his lawn for special occasions with «  blow up decorations «  brought smiles to so many children passing bye his home .. I’ll miss our appointments for your hair and I’ll miss you calling me Sweetheart .. to his family I send my condolences, May he rest in piece ❤️
