Martin James "Jim" Hope

Martin James ‘Jim’ Hope of Howick, Quebec, died peacefully
surrounded by family on December 10, 2021, after a long illness.
.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Ginette Beaudin, his two sons Mitchell (Angela) and Jason (Hélène), his grandchildren Martin James, Layna, Emmanuelle, Laurence, Kennedy, Callie, and Connor. Son of Harold Hope, he is also survived by his sister Donna (Doug) his brother Kenneth (Claire), as well as family friend Shaun Dupont, nieces and nephews.

Jim’s love of cars was passed on to his sons who were rebuilding a hot rod with him. They enjoyed going to car shows with him from a young age. His passion in life was watching his sons play hockey. It did not matter how far the game was, he was there. Jim was also very active member of the Lions Club and cherished his time with the club. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held, in full compliance with sanitary measures,
at the McGerrigle Funeral Home from 18:30 to 21:00
on Friday December 17, 2021.
