Winston Churchill Kerr, 1943–2022

Winston passed away peacefully
at the Barrie Memorial Hospital in Ormstown
on January 23, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

 

He leaves to mourn his wife of 58 years, Ann, his children Steve (Audrey) and their son Tyler.

Also survived by Patricia, Jessy, Jamie and great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters Jean Brocklehurst and Alberta Kerr.

The family would like to thank the staff of the third floor of the Barrie Memorial Hospital for the outstanding care that Winston received.

Donations in Winston’s memory to the Foundation of the Barrie Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

At his request there will be no service.

    I’ll always remember Uncle Winston fondly – the rich smell of his pipe tobacco, his kind demeanor and his easy laughter. I’m thankful I saw him one last time about a month ago. It was a hello and a goodbye, and it was fitting. Thinking of Aunt Ann and his family at this time – my sincere sympathies…
