Milton Reid Hooker, August 6, 1935—June 13, 2023

Peacefully, at the CHSLD Dr. Aimé Leduc
in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Québec, on June 13, 2023,
Milton passed away in his 88th year. 

Beloved husband of late Judith (Gomery) Hooker (1938–2020) and dear father to Matthew (Hayley Soar), Peggy (Rob Shaver) and Jane. Also survived by nine grandchildren, Joseph Emerson, Thomas Hooker, Kristen Russell, Martin Milot, Patrick Milot, John Hiltz, Cameron Hooker, Étienne Milot, Adam Hiltz, and 12 great-grandchildren. As well, Milt was predeceased by his two wonderful sisters, Carole Kilgour and Catherine Bell of Courtenay, BC. 

Milton was an honourable and loving father, husband, friend and man.  
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
at the St. James Anglican Church, 19 Church Street, Ormstown, QC J0S 1K0.

To exchange memories, a gathering will follow the service at 
the Village Church, 52 Lambton St in Ormstown.

Donations, if so desired, may be made to the
Women’s Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital in Ormstown or,
to the CHSLD Fondation du Centre Dr-Aimé-Leduc in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. 
Both care facilities were much appreciated.

    So many memories and there is one that stands out. I remember, as a child, your parents- they were a couple that were always well dressed and well spoken.     My sincere sympathy to the family.Milt was a good friend of Bob since elementary school.How we enjoyed our lunches with our old school group,sharing memories and getting caught up with old friends.Milt will be missed but will be happy to be with Judy once more.
