Frances Clément (née Szczepanska), 1939–2023

It is with sadness that we announce that Frances Clément
passed away peacefully at her home on July 11, 2023, at the age of 84.

She is survived by her husband Pierre and her children, Beatrice (Pierre), Stephen (Michelle) and Charles (Donna), grandchildren Rebecca, Catherine, Alexandria, Josephine and Hunter, and her siblings Annie and Mark (Mary), as well as other family members and friends. She reunites with her mother Stella Merchoff.

Frances was born on June 13, 1939, and grew up in the LaSalle area. She married Pierre Clément in 1963 and together they had their three children. They moved to Ormstown in 1971, where they lived happily for over 50 years.

A unique soul and academic at heart, Frances worked as a teacher in the area and subsequently pursued and earned her degree in Theology. For many years, she was active in the local Catholic diocese, volunteering and performing baptisms as a lay minister. She loved reading, gardening, and sharing time with others.

An ever loving and devoted wife, mother and friend,
she will be greatly missed by all who had
the privilege to spend time with her.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday July 29, 2023
at the McGerrigle Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00 pm
followed by the funeral service at 3:00pm. Burial will take place at a later date. »

In her memory, the family suggests a donation
to the Women’s Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital.

    Partager ensemble vos souvenirs.
