John lived the life he loved on Covey Hill Road in Hemmingford, QC before enjoying his final year in Ormstown. His greatest pride and pleasure was farming with his family and working outdoors. In his early years, John worked as a technician for Bell Canada, followed by a 24-year career as a Canada Customs Officer.
Beloved husband of Dorothy Curran for 60 years. Dear father of Cheryl (Andrew), Connie (Gary) and Crystal. John is also survived by his brother Charles (late Pat), his sister Wilma (late Gaetan) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Willis Clark and Frances Lyall Grant; brothers Robert, David (Dulcie) and Glen (Ann); and, sisters Orma (late Robert), Audry (late Bob), Evelyn, Beryl (Archie) and Sandra (Peter).
Private interment to take place at the Wesley United Church, Havelock, QC. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Women’s Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital, 28 rue Gale, Ormstown, QC J0S 1K0.
